I am in no shape or form a fan of the Fighting Irish. But I read this story and it really touched me. Charlie Weis is a class act and from now on when I hear his named mentioned I will remember this story.

Yeah....I wish they would have scored on that play. Reminds me of Bo Kimble shooting all of his first Free throws left handed in honor of Hank Gathers...he never missed as a lefty.

they had a great thing on sportscenter last week i belive it was, i think it had to do with this and the charity they set up, makes you realize how great of a man he is, i belive it was weis that over came some illness of his own, as well as he lost his daughter to a disease that his charity was startred for. reading this story and seeing the thing on sportscenter, gives me a new respect for him, i respected him as a coach, but now i respect him as a great person as well
