Lester who was recovering from Cancer over the last 11 months made his comeback tonight in Cleveland.
I am glad I was able to watch it as he looked great. That said it is remarkable what this man went through and how he was able to comeback tonight and didn't allow that to defeat him.

it is a great story...i can't believe he got the win tonight as that makes it even sweeter...

it also looks like the zoo has finally awoken.

the bats are swinging like no other....
47 runs the last 3 games...
cano and matsui have finally caught fire...
pitching is holding together alright...
only 7.5 games back....
next 15 games against teams under .500
hot damn, i'm ready.

only question is can the pitching continue to do that?
29 of our next 59 come against the likes of Tampa Bay and Baltimore who we are a combined 7-1 against this year.
We have that tough road trip coming up in August where we have to travel back to Oakland and Anaheim.
We do close out our last 6 I believe at home.
Most don't get nervous during a 7.5 lead unless you're the freaking Red Sox.

about as quick as it can go back up to 13.5.
o the life of being a Sox fan. I love it :cool: :confused:
