congrats to the wtamu buffs who knocked off the #3 tamuk javs, 28-20. it was a tremendously exciting game in front of 14k in canyon. the buffs have shown that they aren't smoke and mirrors. coach carthel will be sporting a maroon coif this week. bet that'll start a trend up on the staked plains.

I didn't know that stadium in Canyon could hold that many. My dad went to college in Canyon for 2 years before getting his parents to get him a car instead of pay for college.

they have recently reworked it with turf and whatnot. from the outside, it's the coolest stadium with the west texas motif- cacti and mesquite and rocks and buffalo. it was rocking when i called about the game sat night. 30 minutes after the final gun and it sounded like mardi gras. they are in the driver's seat to take the conference title.

Apparently the Buffs are for real - they spanked ACU at their homecoming Sat. Wondering if DD#3 was happier than DD#2 was upset? These guys have turned it around.
