Monday night, time to do some scouting
Belton vs Bryan
Belton has shown vast improvement from last years 0-10
play Abilene tough and had a very good chance to win
Bryan is Cove's next game, so that why I be at this one
MHO: Belton 28 Bryan 24 in a close one
A & M Cosol vs Temple
Temple has tons of problems, 3rd new offense in as many years
A&M should be ready for district after tough non-dist schedule
MHO: A&M 34 Temple 7
monday games will give the rest of district some scouting time
What do ya'll think!!

None of those teams are a real threat to Cove, so do yourself a favor and stay home and watch Monday Night Football.

agree on both except for score on the belton bryan game, i dont think their offensive lines gonna beable to stand up to beltons defense. i think more 35 - 7

I for one would like to see the game between Belton and Bryan. Does anyone know of other games besides these 2 match-ups for monday?

These are the only 2 from 13-5A that are scheduled for Monday.

I think it would work better in our favor for Belton to thump Bryan. Then they will be down come Saturday for our game. If Bryan wins what a way to step in to the next game pumped up. Belton is no slouch team this year. They are looking pretty good.

Bryan comes into this game 1-2 coming off a loss to Leander. I don't really know how good or not good they are have not seen them. Belton may win this game and get their first district win since 2003 if the Abilene game is any indication. I don't think it will matter if Bryan wins or loses they will still be up for the Cove game. Seems as if everyone will be trying to bring their A game when they play Cove this year.

That's the biggest pressure with being a returning champion with high expectations. You have a huge target on your back. But, if you make it through district with no losses, you'l be ready for the playoffs for sure.

You are right, with that said I still believe the district title will come down to AMC vs Cove. Third place is a tossup still but I will change the teams around I believe if Shoemaker can start to play defense they will be the 3rd team all subject to change as season unfolds.
