The husband handed off responsibilty to his replacement this morning. At last we will be a "retired" military family.
That's all. I am incredibly proud of him and the work he did in support of the soldiers, airmen, sailors, and marines of this great country.
It's been a long, strange trip.

Congrats.......We are ALL proud of both of yall. Sometimes I wish I would have stayed in....I could have retired at the age of 37:eek:

No, not wasted. I told him to.................get a job! I married him for better or worse, not for lunch!* Time to start a new career.

Congratulations on the retirement and many thanks for the 30 years leading to it!! Hope you get to do all the things you have been saving to do until retirement and never run out of things to do!!
