Coppell 1-3 (0-1)

Irving Macarther 4-0 (1-0)
This game could be intersting. The Cowboys have not lost three games in a row since 1998. IMac had a very close game with a tough LD Bell game.
IMacs defense looks good which might mean another tough night for Coppell running back Emanual Moody who has rushed for under 160 yards in his past two games. Coppell must look to throw the ball deep, to keep IMacs Defenders off there running back tail the whole night. An unknow injury as kept starting QB Kenny Graves off the field the past two games (three weeks including a bye week).
This is a game I think Coppell can win, it'll be close...(I think this the first time all season...cept for Jesuit...that ive streight up said Coppell will win...
Final Score:
17-14 Coppell

MacArthur's run defense was very solid tonight as we ran the ball 30 times for 75 yards. Their pass defense was just as good as we were 8 of 24 for 144 yards and an interception. However, in the first half we had negative yards rushing and picked it up in the second half and our run game came alive for the first time since Bowie. Running the ball with our offense is tough since there is only 5 lineman blocking and Coppell uses a tight end and fullback(am I right?) so that could help.
MacArthur needs to look long and hard at their team since their past 3 games have been down to the wire. They had many breaks against us and may not get them again. They could have easily lost the game.
I don't think Coppell's offense has the fire power to keep up with MacArthur's defense. They were extremely quick, and we benefitted from having quick offensive players as well. I don't know how Coppell stacks up speed wise but I don't think its as good as MacArthurs. Coppell needs another weapon besides Emmanuel Moody or each team will run 9, 10 in the box all game.
I don't know much about the Coppell defense either and how they are. But MacArthur had 0 yards after catch tonight. They were all jump balls or diving catches or fade routes where they pushed off and didn't get flagged. They were still very fast runners though. Thank God our whole secondary runs a 4.5 or better. Dervin Speight knew how to find holes running the ball.
My prediction:
IMac 31
Coppell 10
Because Mac is more talented and athletic. Although they might not be as hard of workers or focused. And until Coppell finds another source of offense, its going to be tough moving the ball against a D that is, in my opinion, much better than Trinity's.

Irving Mac will be a tough one but if you can beat them then you're in the playoffs.
Good luck! :)

This is a must game for Coppell and it might define the rest of their season because they still have Irving and South Grand Prairie ahead. I think it will be close if Coppell can get its act together.

I have a problem rooting for a team that consists of "Macarthur"....but I'll go with Coppell in this one.

you know i have to disagree with you on that one, i think irving Nimtz is the make or break game for Coppell...if they beat Imac, they win the rest of the games, no problim, but if they lose, they have one more chance against Nimtz, espically in our district, anything can happen in our district, last year it came down to the final games. If Irving had lost the winner of SGP and Coppell was in...if Coppell had beaten Irving the week before (remember Coppell only lost by 6 in one of the greatist offensive showing I have ever seen), They would have been in the play-offs

I just think Mac's defense is too fast and too good. We scored one TD off of an interception returned 55 yards to their 8 yard line, and the other one on a short 10 yard curl route that was turned into a 50 yard TD pass because of missed tackles by Mac. And we could not establish a running game until the 4th quarter. Justin Gent #32 and Kelly Something #50 will let Emmanuel Moody know early who is boss.

Its been dlines that have stoped moody the past two weeks, they will have to stay back and not blitz IMO...im REALLY hoping that Kenny Graves is back so we can pass the ball for a change
