Copperas Cove trailed 20-17 heading into the fourth quarter. The Dawgs then sparked for 3 touchdowns in 4 minutes to take it 35-20. Coach Welch has expressed greatly that the Dawgs have to be a fourth quarter team if they want to contend for a state title. They showed it tonight.... Also Shoemaker upset Waco I believe 25-13, not sure on the score but Shoemaker did win.

I'll go ahead and eat my crow dude. Your team obvously played much better than they did in week one. I'm admitting my fault lol. It sounded like a good game.

Like I said in another post put up good offensive number but I'm very disappointed in the few plays we allowed heights to get. Will need to improve on that. Would like to say Heights is a good team but they are a one man show. I think week off hurt more than helped. No excuses but I will take the win. Shoemaker did win that game over WACO will be a long season for them!!!
