This deserves it's own thread. Reagan beat Mac! 22-20.
Go Big Green, Silver and Black, Reagan Rattlers strike'em back!
(Our fight song...)
It was a good game...but of course on the first Mac touchdown Jr. Richards being the....."gentleman" he is, started showboating and taunting us. He's not as good as everything hopes/thinks he is. It was a good rebound from last week for Reagan. Looks like Mac's spaceship came back down to earth....

Ah, I was trying a little something different this past week....each week Ive spoken out against Mac and they won, so I kept making it seem like it was gonna be a romp cause I think some of the team members look at this. (Possibly from Gridiron, but that's fine, I would show it to the team). All this week, I've actually be trying to convince my friends who actually were down on the team to go. No one will probably believe me but thats fine. I'm really happy for the team, they made a great rebound from last week. Now, when I said they looked pathetic last week...that part was true.
Mac's defense got handled tonight. Their injuries (DL, DB) showed tonight. But you got to give credit to Reagan, they did not quit and just kept pounding up the middle. Their QB had a field day.
Mac still has the talent to win 4 of their next 6 games. Reagan, will also surprise a few teams. What a way to kickoff 265A.

Well, there 310 pounder didn't look threatening though....yes, he's 310 but...I dont think much of it was muscle....Reagan's D wore down the Mac offense, they were getting more penetration, rushing passes, and covering the recievers. And John Craig didn't have a big game either.
I was extremely surprised in Greg's performance....I know he can run and he's all fast but I was surprised he could run against Mac...cause we were sitting there in the Dome a few weeks back talking about how he couldn't always do that. And probably can't after this game but my gosh...that boy can fly.

The Reagan D came up big in the second half...if I remmebr the paper said they only got one first down in 23 minutes which i just about most of the second half. But Reagan's offense kept them in the game throughout the first until the defense could come up in the second. Course the 48 yard FG was nice, too ;)

Yeah, odd thing is he's 2/2 from that spot (hit one against Warren)and he hit it from the right has marks but right after that, he had a 35-40 yarder(cant remember) and it was straight up the middle and everything and he missed it wide left.
The kid from Boerne, Lawrence Hunter i think it was, can hit a few long ones as well.

In my best Bill Murry Voice....
"Oh Mrs. Crane, you're a little monkey woman. Yeah, you're lean, mean, and I bet you're not too far in between are ya. How'd you like to wrap your spikes around my...Oh not that one............................................... .................
"I got to get into this dude's pelt and crawl around for a few days. Who's the gopher's ally. His friends. The harmless squirrel and the friendly rabbit."
Hey Gopher..Mac sucks..We tried to tell you that this year will be no different then the past 4 years. Mac will beat Lee and maybe churchill in 26-5A and that is the law of the jungle!!!! Sorry gopher..Im not a Mac hater but I do know that this year will be not different!!

Should those lyrics read" Oh Mr. Bucky, you're lean andmean......." You aren't showing any mercy o the Mac.

Reagan may not be good enough to the playoffs, but I believe they are improving. Remember, this is the same school that beats the rest of 26-5A in practically everything else. Reagan will begin their ascent....

Wasn't there that movie....oh no, that was groundhog day. Nevermind. I don't think Coach Hill can be blamed for the loss, I'd probably blame the players for possibly looking ahead. But maybe Churchill is for real. We'll see how good SV is next week.
