Those uni's are teh suck, by the way. I don't understand what is so difficult about this.

Two colors--Maroon and white.

Block numbering.

Maroon jersey, white pants home.

White jersey, maroon pants away.

White block ATM on maroon background for the helmet.

That's all.

Also, Tech needs to go back to red jerseys with black pants at home. I like the all white away look. And ditch the fancy underarmour stripes, just block numbers and letters will be fine. Get Russell or Champion to outfit you or something. The big names just want to screw with stuff.

That ("mismatch of colors")has been the "style", since I can remember. Only in the mid to late 90's, and into this millenium, did Uniforms maintain the same color top to bottom. Wanted to be different. Kinda like the Cowboys in the day (NFL I know) always wanting to wear white (away jerseys) at home.

When I was in High School, it was Colors on top, white on bottom for home games, or vice versa for away games. When I got to college, it was colors on top, white on bottom for home, and all white for away.

Then of course, you have Maroon out. But that is different.

Maybe an oversight, but it appears that the maroon tops will not have numbers on the sleeves. It also APPEARS that there is NOT a name block on the Maroon shirts, like on the white jerseys.

That, and now they have Adidas on them, instead of the Nike swoosh.

Subtle is good, in my book. I think the aTm is a LITTLE too big on the side of the helmet, but that is just me.

I believe the number style is different and there is now some silly silver stripe around the numbers to go along with the stripe on the pants. A&M used to have a solid red stripe down their pants, but I believe this will be the first time they've had multiple colored stripes.

As for the helmets, yes the bass boat look is a fake, but there is some talk that there will be a stripe down the middle of the helmets and the helmets will have the "new" beveled "ATM". Finally, the maroon is a lot lighter. It almost looks pink when compared with the old color.

I think the new unis will look pretty darn good. They look a lot like the unis they had back in the '80s with the gray leg stripe. I just hope they don't jack around with the helmet much, if at all.

The "Maroon Out" doesn't looks so bad like it is. I kinda like it.

I don't care for the other color mismatch though. If they are home, i think they should be all maroon, and "away" game colors should be the all white with maroon numbers.
