5 out of the 6 katy isd schools are qualified for the tournament and i am surprised because i figured katy and cinco would make it and maybe taylor but never mayde creek or seven lakes

They qualified due to the situation. Because of the rules 7on7 has, all it takes is 2 good games at a given tournament and u r qualified. The week MC qualified they went 2-3 and I'm pretty sure SvnL did the same.

Klein High is headed to Lufkin this weekend. None of the 16 teams are qualified yet...including Lufkin. You not only have to win your pool but you have to win Semi's and make the Championship game. That does not sound like what you are describing as an easy road.

Like I said, they were in a situation where they had to win 2 games and they qualified. Mayde Creek's pool play the week they qualified went like this; lost to Stratford by alot, lost to Katy by alot, beat Cy-Creek by a little. Then in the semis they again squeaked by only to lose in the finals; visa-vie 2-3 on the day in a situation where it was good enough to qualify. Obviously 2-3 at the tournament you speak of wouldn't be good enough, but for MC at Cinco it was.

its actually the same situation, just teams like cy creek,mayde creek,and 7 lakes won their pools at 1-2 by default because 2 other teams in their pool had already qualified.yes,those teams suck and got lucky,but they did have to win that 1 pool game head up and win a diluted semi final game.wait a second,ya.that doesnt seem fair!my team has played lufkin,cinco ranch,bryan,klein oak,woodlands,langham creek,cy falls all in sqt play!

No, they are something like 19 or 22-0 now. No more tournaments until College Station.

wow thats a change katy has been above avg in the past couple of years in 7on7 daltons year they didnt go very far last year the played in the cons. championship maybe this could be their year they look very impressive ive only been to the one where they played andrew luck

very nice. i know abilene is unbeaten as well. only 1 loss the past two years. who else is unbeaten?
