Defending 10-5A co-champs face off-last week's bye couldn't come at a
better time for the Ranger D after being toasted by the likes of Emmanuel
Moody & Mon Williams, but now face double trouble by Berkner's Johnson
Bros-what do you think the outcome will end up in?

Berkner's JV white team took on Jesuits JV team last week pasted them pretty good (41-6). However that's the Berkner team that throws the ball more often than they run the ball. Berkner's QB threw for 3 TD's and ran for 3 more and probably had 250 yards in the air. Berkner could've kept it on the ground and just ran sweeps all night long. If that's any indication of the kind of defense Jesuit throws out on the field (i.e very slow) it could be a long night for the Rangers.

I think that Berkner will finish the season 10-0.
In other words, they will beat Jesuit.

didn't jesuit pick up some katrina evacuees? what's the word on them? they aren't a team that is just 1-2 players away from contending for a state title, but in that district, they certainly could be in the hunt with some of the talent run out of the jesuit no schools. the x factor created by katrina is still being incorporated, and may not be full blown for weeks.

The JV team had 4 or 5 players on it. Their best player was from New Orleans. In fact he scored their only TD.
