Coppell recieves 2 votes in AP State Poll?

I know they are not a bad football team, but this must be a typo or something. It shows in the Fort Worth Star Telegram with Coppell receiving 2 votes in the AP State Poll(not local/area), and teams like MacArthur, Irving, and other 3-0 fiends not getting any at all.

Coppell Receviers are pretty good, but the reason behind this is because Coppell receivers often run the ball as well, with great effectness, Stephen Johnson and Micheal Fisher were both Running backs there Sophmore year on JV. Along with Moody (who personally I though had confidence problims his sophmore year), But Im kinda shocked that we got votes.

And look at the teams we lost too.

SLC will prob win the 5-5A district championship, and Duncanville will prob win the 7-5A district championship. So far, i think that Coppell has done well, there defense is playing decent and so is there offense. Coppells o is avg 28 points a game, and there deffense is avg 32 point allowed in a game...Now just to remind you if Coppells avg 28 points on offense and got shut out two weeks ago, they have to be doing somthing right

There's no way to justify Coppell getting 2 votes in the state poll and we have plenty of people on here who can do a better job voting in the AP Poll than the people who do. I still think local writers vote for teams in their area with being honest about the strength of the team.

anyone who voted coppell anywhere in the top 20 should have their credentials removed permanently.

Certain writers in the Star Telegram have favorites. The constantly slam or ignore certain players or schools. They call it freedom of the press. I call it preferential press. All schools in Tarrant County should receive equal press and praise from the papers. The kidds deserve to see their name in the paper when they succeed.

I saw the AP poll in the Dallas Morning News today and Coppell was not listed as receiving any votes. I'd guess it was a typo in the Star-Telegram.
