So ya I just saw Pirates of the carribean At Worlds End yesterday and it was one of the best movies ever made. It was weird cuz I got the last ticket for the 7:40 showing at 4 and then it was sold out until 9:30 but it had excitemenet and something everyone can enjoy. The special effects were great. Anyone else see it?

Just saw it today. I fell asleep several times which tells me I was either bored or should have gone to bed before 3:00 am (only to get up at 7:30!). Probably more of the latter. Well, I couldn't help it - "Grandmas Boys" was on at 1:00 and for the same reason as "Employee of the Month", Anchorman, 40 year old virgin and Benchwarmers - once they are on, I can't turn off the TV - dumbest movies ever but I am drawn to them like a fly to a 100 watt bulb. I really liked the first Pirates, didn't like the second one at all and this one probably falls in between. As for the greatest movie ever - this one isn't close in my movie file - that goes to To Kill A Mockingbird and always will. I do so love Johnny Depp though!! I hear he's doing a musical (Sweeney Todd) for the big screen due on at Christmas time.

1- Greatest lineup of movies ever. Grandma's Boy rocks!
2- The first POC was great the 2nd wasn't at all and the 3rd was the best (IMO)
3- TKAM is a great movie but not my favorite. Victory! is my favorite.

You're kidding right? It was awful. I will definitely not see the fourth one (there WILL be a fourth one, there is too much money too be made from it).
The first one was great, but they kept doing the same things that made the first one so good. Fake betrayals, and clever deceptions with fight scenes in the middle. It seemed like the writers were just like "okay, lets have Jack Sparrow pretend to be a bad guy, but he's actually a good guy! Then we'll have a fight scene! And then we'll involve the monkey somehow.....and then another fight scene...and then another fake betrayal!"
The only good thing i can say about it was Keira Knightly was looking fine...as always.

I don't know what to think about this one...I saw it Friday at 7:15. I liked the return of Barbossa, he's always been my favorite, and Keira Knightley was a hoss. It was very long, of course, and didn't feel as driven as the first and second. The thing I didn't like was how complicated it got near the middle and towards the end. SO MUCH BETRAYAL. That's the one word to classify this film: Betrayal, and lots of it. The final battle was fantastic to watch, although how those two ships blasted away at each other for so long is beyond me. I like how at the very end, it leaves us much where the first started.

Please it was great. I loved ow in some scenes you didn't know what was happening next. BUT yes I see where you come from with the fake betrayals and in all movies the POC movies the good guy seems like a bad guy but isn't and all that other stuff.
At the end I was like wait Disney made this movie

I got in trouble with Mrs Slorch for snoring during the movie. I swear it was 6 hours long...
Not remotely as good as the first one. Relies on special effects. No smart humor. if not for Depp, it would be a complete waste.

Ha it was 2hr 45 mins not that long compared to other movies but ya. I thought it was good. Something everyone can agree on is he first was better than the 2nd. I say this was the best one others say the first one (and potheads say the 2nd was the best)

I didn't know what was happening at the time, let alone what was coming next.
