Since everyone seems to have their own thoughts on how the UIL should reconfigure the districts, here is an idea. Why not let schools come together and form their own districts? I know it sound a little crazy, but think about it. The UIL could set up parameters for what size the teams could be in each district (so that some school with 3000 students wouldn't join a district with a bunch of schools with enrollments of less than 1000). The UIL could also draw up the regions based on the alignment of each district. Most schools already know what other schools they would like to be in a district with, so this just makes for an easy way for them to end up where they want.

So kinda like at a dance, "pick your partner"?

The problem is, some girls are prettier than others, some may not get any partners to dance with.
