I'd shoot myself if I had to pay that much money to get into any college football game! But then again I've never paid...when I was in college I played football.

Haven't been to a college game since then.

THis past Saturday, I went to the A&M vs. SMU game and we sat in on the third deck, nosebleed of nosebleed seats (row 26 out of about 30) and teh tickets were still $50.00. Keep in mind we had an attendance of only 75000 and it was only SMU...and after all that it was still $50!

Those actual game prices only apply if you can get the tickets directly from The University of Texas which is almost impossible (at least every time I have tried). Same went for the Ohio State game. I had some friends go to that game and pay $300 a pop for tickets from a scalper... and that was the best deal to be found.

The Red River Rivalry is the same way. You wont get tickets from either school (unless you are a student) which means the only way to get one is online through a ticket broker and a quick search shows the cheap seats going for $275 with decent seats going for just shy of $1000 each. Even the Kansas game is expensive. The cheapest seats (section 101, row 53) are going for $75. The same tickets for the Tech game are twice that.

I wont ever pay that kind of money to see anybody play or perform. That what the "press" (yeah right) pass is for.

If I can find tickets for the Tech game for $100 or less, I would consider buying. That should be a good game.
