From the Greek (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_language) ἣρως, in mythology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mythology) and folklore (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folklore), a hero (male) or heroine (female) usually fulfills the definitions of what is considered good (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goodness_and_value_theory) and noble in the originating culture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture). Typically the willingness to sacrifice the self for the greater good is seen as the most important defining characteristic of a hero. However, in literature (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Literature), particularly in tragedy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tragedy), the hero may also have serious flaws (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fatal_flaw) which lead to their downfall, e.g. Hamlet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamlet). Such heroes are often called tragic heroes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tragic_heroes).

I think Batman fits this definition. So does Superman. Have you seen all the stupid, failed Comic Heros?

I vote for this guy............

Now you're going to have dada come on here and post another adventure of the two Ambiguously Gay Duo.

I didn't care for both Batman or Superman even when I was a child. I thought it was stupid for a guy to wear leotards and just jump up and fly and have x-ray eyes. I didn't like Batman because of Robin. What a nerd. Plus they were two aristocrats that were supposed to be helping all the 'little' people in Gotham. They reminded me too much of the Kennedy's.
Spiderman was better to me because he was flawed like everyone else and he had to develope his crime fitting toys in a laboratory like scientits would. That sounds more believable.
Which leads me to my favorite Super Hero.

Super Chicken. He appeared on Saturday mornings as part of the George of the Jungle show. He had a stable of 'chicks' and flew around in his Super Egg fighting evildoers. I don't understand why they haven't made a movie of him yet.

Since I know everything and I think you meant to say "Who is the worst superhero?" I submit the following:

No Way!!!! Not Hong Kong Phooey! I loved that cartoon when I was a kid. Scatman Crothers was a classic voice.

Hong Kong Phooey Lyrics

(*Intro Voice): "Who is this super hero? Sarge? No. Rosemary, the telephone operator? No.
Penry, the mild, mannered janitor?"
"Could be..."

Hong Kong Phooey, number one super guy.
Hong Kong Phooey, quicker than the human eye.

He's got style, a groovy style,
and a car that just won't stop.
When the going gets rough, he's supah tough,
with a Hong Kong Phooey chop (Hi-Ya!)

Hong Kong Phooey, number one super guy.
Hong Kong Phooey, quicker than the human eye.
(*jiberrish*)

Hong Kong Phooey, fan-riffic (gong!)

I did not say he was my least favorite, I said he was the worst superhero. I changed the "variables" of the question. Sort of my own little Kobayashi Maru solution........
