Yall don't even comare tteams this much in a state championship match (unless it's the KTs but that's because the site needs to be updates and such) the ET/ SLc game wasn't even this talked about. Are you having trouble with your fingers? Your post looks like you typed using a baseball bat. :D Most of the posts re. Carroll vs. MNW got started because of that video of their coaches crazy antics....It would be just as interesting if it were Judson playing MNW..Carroll just happens to be in the spotlight right now.

since his comments re game were irrefutable, whether misguided or not, it is in fact the off-season and we have nothing else of which to debate. as far as the typing goes, i didn't even notice anything out of the ordinary. guess ff has got me trained up far as understanding almost anything.

My smiley while referring to his typing was a clear give-away as to my lack of real concern...And just for the record, the last post on the SLC / MNW thread was a week ago and was posted by texasfrog, who is currently in Afghanistan.....until you guys brought it up again, that is!:p

Then last year when it looked as if it both teams were finally going to meet the talk intensified even more until it was obvious they were going to meet where we then had many threads leading up to the Friday after Thanksgiving. I guarantee if it was Judson vs. MNW you wouldn't have a problem with it.

My opininon of the game that must be put on the record is this game is not every past and future Southlake team vs every past and future Northwestern team, it's not about Florida HS Track vs Texas HS Track:confused: :puke , its not Texas Football vs. Florida Football, and its definitely not every HS football team in Texas vs every HS football team in Floride. I don't care if every other team in Texas volunteered to have this game count towards there record, Southlake win or Southlake loss this won't have anything to do Trinity. It won't be anything more than Southlake 2007 vs. Northwestern 2007 and it won't even be for state.

Absolutely right..it is this years Carroll vs. this years MNW and won't count anything toward a state title for either team. Just braggin rights for a whole bunch of folks.

the only reason I was bringing up the Trinity/Carroll matchup and talk on this board is because the original poster said there was not this much hype with Trinity.Carroll when there had been for over a year

that was a selective editted documentary that hit hbo long ago. Very good if i must say.
