Was fantastic. It scared the crap out of me, which is contributed largely to how freakishly believable the whole mess is. Very much a human survival drama, and this one is extremely terrifying and gory. I LOVED it.

Especially the mother, man. Her life did not go well from when the virus first breaks out to the second outbreak. I had forgotten how quickly the virus could spread but I remembered in that scene when everybody was locked in the containment room. Everybody was infected in a matter of about a minute.

What's next 28 months later, then 28 years later, than 28 decade later and then 28 centuries later and the 28 milleniums later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Soon the Millenium Falcon is brought into the equation and someone dies the end. lol but I liked the first. Speaking of zombie movies anyone else watch Shaun of the dead on Comedy central this morning. That movie kicks major butt! I own it!

The third film will either be 28 Months Later or 28 Years Later. It hasn't been announced which. But the virus will be very widepsread either way. London's security zone in 28 Weeks Later, District 1, is compromised by a woman who carries the virus but has a natural immunity to it. Her children are somewhere in the safezone and their father goes to see her. He kisses her, unaware she is infected, and it's pretty self-explanatory from then on. There are about 15,000 people living in District 1 at the time of the second outbreak. At the end, all they show is a group of Infected running around a city and in the distance you can see the Eiffel Tower looming in the sunset.

I didn't ruin anything a preview would have told you about the film. Everything I said is basic stuff. Indications of global infection were mentioned in the first film. As for the movie itself, the true joy of it lies in seeing all of the horror unfold.

Wow wtf was that

Anybody who didn't know that there would be a third film has completely missed out on the point and direction this franchise has taken. OBVIOUSLY, especially considering the plot, the infection would spread. That bit about the Eiffel Tower is about a ten second scene. The rest of the facts about the movie's plot are typical of a preview that can be read in the paper or the synopsis on the back of the DVD cover. The "ending" if you can even call it that, is not what you may think.

oh ,well to be honest with yall. many people dont know this. but, hav'nt yall noticed that their has not been any scary movies that come out recently that can top the 70's and 80's:mad: . reason is they passed a law back in the early early 90's that prevent them from making them so scary. i think it was passed in 1990. they can only go so for with the horror. it has to be more of a suspense. havnt you noticed how the drama's, suspense, action and sci-fi movies are better than ever and the horror is not . ha ha! thats y. you may get a horror movie thats good to all the younger generation because they dont know of the ones we watched growing up like the excorcist, holloween 1 and 2 and 4 the original amityville . most of you might not remember this one though "the beast within". awh man you talkin bout scary. dont forget the american warewolf in london. the older generation 27 and up know how scary it was back in the 80's and 70's. i will definately mis those kinda films:( . but i can understand y they are gone. people just get to damn scared to walk home at night. scared to go in their own house alone and all that. ha ha !!! they were very belivable to many:D .

a short synopsis would be this.

*MINOR SPOILER*

A research facility in london has a monkey infect with a virus of some sort that sends anything it contacts into a blood lust feeding frenzy state. It starts off with a group of hippies trying to save the monkey but, instead they become infected, and it takes place from there.

*non spoiler* Later the story follows a carrier who wakes up from a coma to find him self in a city thats completely deserted. He begans making his way through to city slowly but surely finding out what had happened, while trying to survive.

Most modern filmmakers are convinced that gore is what scares people. Hardly. Cheap thrills are gotten from movies where everything jumps out at you and screams. What makes 28 Weeks Later so scary is not the zombies themselves, but a) how quickly the virus spreads and b) how utterly realistic the film is. Mostly because the response to the outbreak is probably how it would happen in the real world. I've become paranoid about viral epidemics lately.

BTW. I'm making my own zombie movie. It'll be on Youtube eventually, I'm filming it this summer. And it's not going to be a lame, 4 teens are running through the woods behind their houses being chased by one or two bloodless zombies. I already have about 25 people signed on as my flesheaters, and I'm working on getting 10-20 more.

Because zombies are cool.

Well, as a future film production/direction student, this is not a dumb question. I wish I could borrow a more sophisticated camera from my media teacher, but the thing costs about $3,000 and she won't let anybody use it without her supervision. Also, she has a boom mic I'm trying to sway her into letting me use, but it doesn't look like that will happen either. As for software and equipment, I'll be using several handheld Panasonic and Sony digital cameras that do a little better job with audio and film quality than a typical camcorder. Right now it's the best I can do. I'm working on getting my dad's computer loaded up with Adobe Premiere software, which we use at Mac for our equivalent of the Reagan simulcast (Just For Brahmas). The program, if you've never used it, is rather expensive but very easy to use. I taught myself how to edit on it in a few weeks and media transfer (capturing footage, altering song file formats, etc.) is a piece of cake. It's the best program I've used, and I'm looking for a cheap copy of it online. Basic 1.5 runs at a reasonable 70-100 bucks, depending on where you look. If you have any suggestions, let me know and I'll see if I can use them.

P.S. I watched the opening song for Reagan's visual announcements on Youtube. I like the song, first of all, and I laughed when I saw Kathryn Saffell doing "raise the roof".

P.P.S. I'll hopefully be uploading some of my other projects onto Youtube soon. Mostly football montages.

Adobe Premiere = The Devil

I despise that God forsaken program. Contributing to the Simulcast a lot I've used that program plenty....here's an example of me and the computer "*Click* wait, WHAT THE ####, YOU SON OF A #####, I DIDN'T WANT THAT!"

As for finding it, I'd actually like to find it because, in all honesty, it is a great program. I'm doing huge broadcast that'll be going on Friday and I wish I had it at home so I could devote a lot more time to it but if you wanna see it, PM me and I'll email it to you...may be too big for youtube.

The Intro Song has changed about three times. First we had, "Put Your Hands Up", "Hands in the sky" and now I don't even know what the hell it's called but I'm not a big fan of it. I'll try and get copies and put them up but Hand sin the Sky, I think, was the best....and I was actually going to be raising the roof but the guy filming...well, no comment....

I actually like Premiere, I've never had problems with it, but maybe it's because I've been cursed with such Satanic programs like Windows Movie Maker (More like Windows Devastate Your Project With Crap Maker) and Pinnacle Studio 10.

Wel lah-dee-dah about the songs, we don't have a theme song. We just throw whatever music we like in to the announcements. Although for the senior panoramic promo we made, a group of seniors parked their cars together on the band practice field in a wide V-shape (we're talking like, a 1985 Nissan 300Z, a black 2000 Ford Mustang and a 1995 Mazda sedan) and they recorded a pre-written rap to advertise the panoramic and basically made a mock music video out of it. It was pretty awesome, actually. I'll see if I can put it up on Youtube. I'll need to get it first.

CKE - that's great if you want to help. Like I said, I need zombies. Lots of zombies. Plus probably a small financial contribution to help pay for the chocolate syrup and red food coloring to make the blood.

At the beginning of the year, we did several segments on the announcements where we spoofed "Cribs" by basically doing the show--except with our administrators. Their offices and 'rides' actually were pretty funny. Mrs. Shelton took us outside to her 2002 Suburban, with 16" wheels and probably the crappiest sound system in history. We mimicked all the camera effects and music, too.

LOL...what kind of car do you drive?

I have a 98 Honda Accord with a 2.4L(?) 4-cylinder. It's a light car, so horsepower is never a problem. For example, whenever I'm sitting at a light and I push the accelerator halfway to the floor, the front tires spin out.

It's a good car, moves in and out of traffic very well. Usually when somebody is trying to get by me (like this douchebag in an Infinity G-35) I just keep moving in front of them.

It gets decent gas mileage (about 22 in the city on a 16 gallon tank, haven't looked at highway yet) and costs about 33 bucks to top off. I can hit sixty in about 6 seconds, and I sure do love the way the engine roars when I push it. :D

...which is funny, considering it's a Honda.

I have a Mercedes SL. A 5.6 Litre V8 engine. For gas mileage I never really calculate it but I fill it up just about every 2 weeks....on a 23 gallon tank. I drive to school and back and lifetime and a few other places but I think it's something like 14.5 gallons in the city and 17 mpg on the highway.

I usually fill up every week, but it's a 15 minute drive to Mac for me, plus my parents use my car alot for absolutely no reason. I go through gas quick. My dad also wants me to start filling up at half tank so I don't end up running on fumes needing to get gas.

PS. Totally irrelevant, but I tried uploading some football videos on Youtube yesterday and it sat there and just said "connecting" for nearly 20 minutes before I had to get off and terminated the attempt. What am I doing wrong, if anything?

I just went to Thousand Oaks and Wetmore to wash my car and I wanted to fill up my tank it was at about 40% and my mom refused to give me the credit card because it's "bad" to fill up at around half.

Youtube sucks for a fwe reasons....it has to be 100KB and it seems anything you do on premiere or anything is never that little and it takes forever to upload...if you get it to.

Japaense cars <<<< american cars. Japanese sell there brains and take pride in there work thats why there cars last longer and usually put most of ours to shame. We just have more classical cars, well did...

Suzuki hyabusa yeah its a japanese bike, also have a 1996 honda accord for those rough weather days. Use my bike for curising and a nice weekend ride to enjoy my self. But usually with my bike its the same story all the time. always come up to some light and some snob thinks his beamer is quicker or the guy on the harly sitting their taunting "cute lil toy, le me show you what merican muscle can dew booi" regardless results are always the same i past them laugh and go about my day. Not saying american produce stuff is crap, but some things that are foreign produce are way better.

If someone thinks a car is faster than a bike is truly an idiot....

And most American stuff isn't on par with foreign stuff but we have our moments.

The US always seems to be catching up with the rest of the world in technology. Unless of course that technology is military weaponry. We can kill people in a thousand mindboggling ways, but fuel efficiency has utterly escaped us.

I like my Honda, it's really very reliable considering its age and mileage ( 114892). My parents wanted to get me an American made car to make maintenance easier on my pop, but we went with reliability instead. :D

Lol, true. But we are ahead in real things that count. Medical, sciences, etc.

I like my Mercedes, I always get looks and compliments and just hearing the engine pur and roar is truly amazing. One of the reasons why my family is so into Mercedes is that my mom grew up pretty poor. my mom in the Philippines and when she got a job at the bank, she saw all the bank presidents and other important people driving/being driven in a Mercedes. SO, my mom said that when she buys a Mercedes, she'll know she made it. In a technicality, she never bought any of the ones we've owned (dad did) but yeah, that's the story. And now I know all about Mercedes and I can tell you just about anything about most models.

Well, a Mercedes wouldn't fit my budget, so that makes you a fortunate one. Like I said, I like my Honda; it's plenty big, in really good shape, has a great sound system, and a sunroof. It's enough to satisfy me, since most of my friends don't have cars that nice. (Save for this girl I know who drives a black Mercedes like yours, RR.)

The closest thing I got to a European luxury performance car was a '99 Volvo S80. A nice deep shade of blue, with white leather, a Bose sound system and a V6. If only Volvos weren't so much to insure...

Really? What year and model? (I'm a Benz fanatic I just love knowing all about the cars).

Volvo is pretty good. A man's car, lol. But insurance is plenty expensive for me, lol.
