She's just a couple of months old and I've had her for a few weeks. Her name is Joey and she is the funniest Chihuahua alive. I bought her a real nice fluffy bed the day she came home with me and she loved it, but that wasn't good enough. I found that she was getting into my socks and dragging them into her bed. I later found out why. I give her these little puppy bone treats and she has several toys. She wants to bury them all, but there's nowhere for her to bury them so she started collecting my socks (as well as any other article of clothing that happens to hit the ground) and burying her stuff under my socks. So, when you see her, she's laying on top of a pile of socks in her fluffy bed, but under those socks are all her toys and God knows what else.

She also has to sleep with me. I found this out her first night here. As soon as I hit the bed, she starts scaling the furniture to get in bed with me and she will lay next to me the entire night without getting up or waking me. She also loves to sleep under the blanket. When she gets cold, she burrows her way under the blanket and curls up next to my knee and that's where she sleeps. Anyway, pics of my baby...

My wife and I have............8 of those babies.....yes 8......don't ask me how it happened. Chihuahuas are neat dogs. Very misunderstood and will be your best buddy.

We have a chihuahua mix - very mixed - her brother looked like a dachsund. She's almost 11 and, even though she was free, she's cost me around $7,000 to feed, board and groom. Now, I'm supposed to say Priceless.

Her eyes are so great - lots going on in there!! :) Personally, I prefer the bigger dogs - but chihuahua's are really fantastic companions.
