This is good news. I hope that they can use this virus to develop a really effective pesticide that wouldnt be harmful to other animals or humans.

This is a bad idea. Obviously, developing a pesticide virus out of frustration toward fire ants will cause a mutation in the viral structure and will turn it into the Rage virus. And we all know what happens when the Rage breaks out.

Youre right. Lets just continue to kill them by pouring gasoline on their beds.:D
