Give us your predictions on the mighty Sooners' final standing this year. Does Stoops eventually cry during his halftime interview at any point this year?

No crying!

They go 8-3, 7-4...or at the worst 6-5.

UCLA, TCU are much better teams than we're giving them credit for being. Especially UCLA!

OU is down...but not out. Take away the 6 fumbles on Saturday, OU wins or it's a very close loss. Rhett Bomar looked much better passing, but OU again caused too many overall mistakes.

Think about it...
SMU beat TCU...so what are we saying?...SMU could beat Utah? Don't think so! SMU could beat Arizona, who lost Utah and barely lost to #11 Purdue this past weekend 31-24? Uh, yeah right. SMU could beat Tulsa, who lost to OU, and blew out a decent UNT squad by about 50 points this past week? Never! SMU can beat OU? Wishful thinking!

The fact is starting at the Orange Bowl against USC last year OU has developed this trend of beating itself. 5 turnovers against USC - 4 of those inside their own 40, 3 against TCU, 2 against TULSA, and 6 fumbles against UCLA. I don't care if you're USC with Leinhart and Bush...if you turn the ball over this many times and committ that many mistakes you'll lose EVERY TIME!! Especially with all those freshman on the field!

This brings a whole new meaning to beating yourself!!

I get the nagging feeling that you are an OU and Adrian Peterson fan. :D ...Always "Half Full"........gotta give you a hard time.

Heh, Heh, Heh...figures! Yeah, I'm an OU fan alright! The way I see it is, if OU was dressed in burnt orange, and were called UT instead, alot of Longhorn fans would be presenting all the reasons why Vincent Young and his team aren't winning.

I've got both an easier job, because OU is reloading...and a tough job, because it seems everyone on here is a UT fan. (Hence 5A Texas Football!)

Doesn't bother me though! I just think OU is a little down, but who knows...they could show up the week of Texas/OU with a can of you-know-what...and then I'd have to hear it from Wide all the following week!!! :D

Yeah...that's why I'm beating my UT drum quietly....I have to wait until they leave Dallas with a win. Truth is I was never really A UT fan(Wide is gonna kill me). I Followed Vince through High School and was really hoping he went to FSU or Miami....when he went to UT...I became a fan. Besides that...I cant root for UH or Rice....dosent feel right.

I'm not blowing anyones horn except the one who beats OU. Can't stand 'em. Stoops is an egotistical pig! I'm glad he's finally getting a taste of what he's been spreading. Sorry if I make anyone mad, not what I'm tryin' to do. Stoops really teed me off by not allowing any of his Texas recruits play on one of the biggest stages in Texas high school football this year. I know people are going to use the injury card, but that's football. If he doesn't want them to participate, he needs to stay out of Texas. Personally, I think it's one of his tactics in trying to separate them from their Texas roots. I don't care who they lose to, just so they continue to lose.

P.S. See what winners get???

Seems like you are a little bitter about UT losing to OU last few years and putting 60 points on them TWICE!! As far as the recruits go I would not let them play either... It's not worth it to let them get hurt in a meaningless game.

Has nothing to do with TU at all. I'm just glad to see the pendulum(sp?) begin to swing. I really hate to see good Texas talent go to OU but what I hate even worse is Stoops tryin' to alienate them.
For now, I'll call it poetic justice. Gig em'.
