Because they suck. Dirk's a non factor. Those 2 threes at the end were too little too late. I can't stand Cuban. So I'm ok with it :D

Mavs are really having problems with GS small ball game. GS really scramble defensively so it's difficult for the Mavs to get good looks from the perimeter. GS are also much quicker to loose balls.

I don't think as many people would hate Dallas if it wasn't for Mark Cuban and of course 5A's own LONNY!

they can still pull it off, its just time to play some near perfect basketball... can it happen, yes.. would i be surprised if it didnt and they drop the series, no... Im not in panic mode, i mean hell its just basketball, but i am worried. Its time to play some mavs basketball, and start putting some pressure, drive to the paint and stop throwing up stupid jump shots.

Yup, anything can happen.....but it doesn't look so good for the Mavs right now. I don't think very many teams have come back from 3-1 deficits. I am sure Lonny knows the exact number and he'll be here any moment to let us know.

lonny usually stays away from the board after he realizes he has been pooring out BS all season (i.e. judson making the playoffs in 06) but im sure he will find some crazy excuse that has to do with numbers that mean absolutly nothing.....like always

Yeah, I remember when he was gone for days after Judson lost to Reagan that one time.....lol
Lets see how long it takes this time.....I don't think it will be as long as the Judson playoff b/c the Mavs haven't officially lost the series.

I never thought it would come to this, but it has....well the Suns were in the same exact situation last year and they came back from the dead and beat the lakers so there is still hope. I dont care how many people hate mark Cuban, but over the past 8 years hes been the best owner in sports.

The difference there is, the Lakers suck. Golden State is just a really bad matchup for Dallas. The only reason anyone is getting enjoyment out of the Mavs losing is because of the Maverick fans.

No bandwagonner here! I've been a die-hard Mavs fan since the 80's. I suffered thru the 90's when they were some seasons when they didn't even win 20 games. I stuck by them then, and I'll continue to stick by them.

By who's standards? The most arrogant people? Sure, then he's the best. But if you're measuring the overall success of the program, I'd throw a some support to Peter Holt. The Spurs in San Antonio have much more loyal fans.

CKE,
I'm not afraid to admit it, I am truly hurting over this. I haven't been this sick since the year the Mavs decided to draft Cherokee Parks in the first round.

Being a long time die-hard Mavs fan, I agree! Alot of the Mavs fans are bandwagon fans who didn't jump on until after Cuban bought the team. They're the ones who jumped off the wagon after game 1 of this year's first round series. Oh, and you'll see some more jump off if they don't get it together.

I always tried to tell Lonny that 67 wins meant NOTHING. The Mavs just got too used to winning and lost focus, IMO. Now they're consistently facing a team that a) wants to beat them and even worse, b) knows HOW to beat them. Golden State has 3 chances to finish the Mavs off, and I'm fairly certain they will take advantage of one. Most likely Game 6.
