The Dillion Panthers win state!!!! I can not believe that they won. That VooDoo is one heck of a player. The panthers came out a little slow and were down 26 - 0 at half. But with a gutsy performance from Smash Williams, Seracin and Riggins. They came away with the huge upset win. The last play was amazing, and 18 yard hook and lateral. I was going wild it will never be repeated again. I couldnt believe it. Smash showed such heart coming back from a slightly seperated shoulder. What a win, the boys from Dillion should be proud of what they accomplished this year. And as they said in a reare glimpse of their locker room activities. "Today we are Champions and tomorrow we are targets." GO PANTHES!!!!!!!

So, do they get their logo added to the top right corner with SLC and Cedar Hill now? ;)

I think we should petition for the Dillon Panthers to be in the corner as the "honorary" state champs:) .
I was working out at 24 Hour fitness so I missed the "live" version. I will now go and watch that hunky coach and that hot bad boy Riggins and see the "game" for myself!! I'm so glad it's coming back next season...it is my favorite show next to Ugly Betty.

I am going on record now - after having watched the "season finale"....Coach Taylor is back next year and so is FNL - it's a can't miss show and the writing is amazing. I also heard that they let a lot of the actors ad lib quite a bit which adds a little realism at times. Glad to see Lila not quite so depressing and whiny in this episode...just wish Landry would get his girl finally:rolleyes: . The kid that plays Landry is from Mart, TX and was the water boy for the football team...just a little Cliff Klaven trivia for ya.

if you are watching it just for football footage then, yes, it is terrible. But it has really blossomed as a drama series and has really become a good show. It won the Peabody Award for writing excellence a couple of weeks ago.

I saw it on the offical site - at first they were saying last episode of all time and they have since had so many petitions and such that they then posted it as the "season finale". I don't see the "season finale" bit now so I'm not sure. I do know the studio has been hit up with millions of requests to keep it going. I don't think it's written in stone yet but check out these two links for more info. I have also attached a very good article from the Baltimore Sun.

I like Friday Night Lights a lot. As a "football" show, yes it is not very good, but they wouldnt attract as many viewers if they just concentrated on the football aspects of the show. They have to present problems everyone can relate to, like parents getting a divorce. They have done a very good job of this and is why they show will stay on the air if it comes back.

I liked the show. A little dramatic but it was a good show.
