On a positive note, JT won the 12-5A JV track meet in Mesquite this past Thursday, the JV won 4x1 relay with a time of 43.5 Not bad for a JV at all. JT has plenty of young talent coming for the new coach.

They all play football if you want to know, c-lisle. I noticed that Longview didn't even have one. Numbers issues I presume or kids don't care.

That was a problem because the kids HATED Ratliff. He alienated alot kids and people at JT. The kids refused to play for him. The man was a complete fool. Yes Longview did not particcipate in the JV district track meet in Mesquite last Thursday according to the Tyler paper.

Oh, and as for Ratliff, I met him one day when I was in Tyler a few years back when I was visiting some friends down at UT-Tyler. Long story short, that man isn't playing with a full deck of cards.

Good to see JT finally has the right motivator at the helm. It's obviously working.. results are coming through the younger programs there. Looks like John Tyler will be quite a force in the upcoming seasons.
Congrats to the JV squad ;)

Boulter has a lot of athletes going to JT this upcoming year and after next. Their basketball teams won the 8th and 7th grade city championships. Also their 8th grade football team came in 2nd to Moore or hubbard, and the 7th grade won the city football championship as well. Who ever gets this job is stepping into a gold mine at JT if he does right.
