Hopefully REL will improve as the season goes along. They are self destructing. 43-14 in 4th quarter. Trinity's Dimitri Nance has over 300 yards rushing. Could the circus in Ohio be a factor? I say yes.

Ya.. way to much pressure for those kids to sustain. All that crap adds up I dont care who you talk to.
It hurt them in the Colerain game and its killing them this week. People that try to tell me that the "mental state" of these Kids (15,16,17) isnt a little off balance right now doesnt know High school football.
Like I said. It hurt them last week in a close hard fought game in Ohio and the after effects are really hurting them tonight.

I say yes. It's final. 43-14. Any coach who takes a teenage football team across the country to play an over hyped game is a fool.
Trinity averged over 10 yards per play.

Well, the game last week really wasn't as close as the score indicated. Tyler Lee is finding out, through trial by fire, what it means to bear the label of defending champion. It brings out incredible efforts from each opponent and you have to be on your A game every week.

Did you see and hear the relief in Todd Dodge's voice after they won in 2004. The release of pressure was dramatic.

Has it occurred to anyone that Trinity is simply that good? I mean really, beating the 6th ranked team in the state - in Tyler, no less - by 29 points is an accomplishment. This isn't 2004.

trinity really dominated in the 4th qtr. as i predicted they beat lee by almost 30 pts... time to realize that trinity is one of the nations top 5 this year.

That's what I'm saying.. That's why I believe these national polls are a joke.
Colerain will go on and be in the National #25 ( and posters will point to the REL game for them) even though Colerain has a loss.
Trinity wont get much respect and they beat REL worse on Tyler's own field and Trinity is undefeated.
If their not ahead of Colerain and not in the Top #15 (nationally) then the polls are a complete JOKE !!!
But, then again I've been saying their a JOKE for years so why change now.

Time to sit down and finally realize that Trinity is really that good. I was at the game and they stopped REL totally in the second half. There should be no questions that the Trinity defense is up for the task. Say, bhs06, are ready to rumble?

i highly agree that polls are complete trash!!! does any one else agree with me that trinity should be in the nations top five? i mean there last three games were not cheesy teams, desoto, midland, and tyler? i mean state ranked teams that lost by atleast 29 pts from a team that isnt even ranked in the states top five!

There are surprises and flukes. But it ain't no fluke when the offense AVERAGES 50 points per game, against ranked teams. Before the season there was agreement that Trinity possibly had one of the toughest preseason and district schedules. WELLLL, now is the time to anti up and admit that they are all they're hyped to be. It was not a close game. REL had a flash towards the end of the first half. Trinity shut the door the second half. No, REL did not lose because of lame excuses like mistakes. The REL coach, a class person, stated that TRINITY is the best team he has seen in 20 years. I think he is a good source. If you were there, you would have seen that the question of TRINITY'S defense was answered. Alsmost 500 yards for TRINITY and less than 300 total yards for REL. That is a complete display of teamwork and domination. TRINITY deserves the credit as being named one of the top teams in the nation. Not opinion....just fact.

Don't anybody count Tyler Lee out, those guys never quit and they have a great coaching staff. They will be back strong, you can count on it.
Euless Trinity is a power house this year, so I would say Division I needs to keep an eye out for them.

Tyler Lee aint out of it. It wont be as easy this year for them as last year. They dont have the overall "team speed" like last years team did.
Especially on defense.. Plus, the O-line isnt as strong overall as last seasons. But, they still have a good shot to make a strong showing.

This is a message board that is supposed to allow good natured bantering among High School Football fans. When posters start to take the debate too seriously and start to throw dispersions at each other then the fun of the board goes away. I do not care to read one poster questioning the intelligents of other posters just because they do not believe in the comments being expressed. State you point and back your point with whatever evidence that you have. Support your team and respect the others. The type of postings that have proliferated on this board is making it more of a name calling, character assination, Jr High level waste of time!
Please use common manners and respect for others when making your points. Not everybody is going to agree with what you say and you are not going to agree to everything that someone else is saying. Respect one another and enjoy the difference of oppion that can be had on a quality board like this one. One might actully learn a thing or two about other people and programs.

hawgs, maybe i cant read, but i see nothing in that post that suggests you are not a true fan if you havent been posting. What i read is that more new people tend to show up on this board when their team is winning, and most end up fading away after their teams miss the playoffs or lose in the playoffs. I am not saying this is going to happen to Trinity, as I predicted at the beginning of the season that they would win it all in D1, but it happens on here regularly with posters, and bleed has seen it and was just giving you a fair warning. Next time dont take the posts so personal and just take the advice of a veteran with respect. Most of the time you have to take what is said with a grain of salt anyways. For example, I cant stand SLCDad and what he posts, but this week I am choosing to ignore his posts about Lee and if he wants to worry this much about a team he isnt associated with he can. Welcome to the board hawgs, and good luck the rest of the season.

Looks like I gave Lee's Offense a little too much credit when I predicted a trinity win 43-20. None the less it was dominant. I've been in full suport of trinity all year. If they continue playing the way they do, they will not be challenged in Division 1. Let's just hope Denton Ryan and Grapevine step it up in district play because I want to see the game everybody else in Texas wants to see.

What sucks about the Euless Trinity thing is that they are going to play in D1 and not play the top teams in the state.
