Kind of similar to the Big 12 championship game in 2001 when Chris Simms cell number was posted on the internet and many Texas fans kept calling him with some not so nice things to say.

thats just uneducated fans though you know. jim tressel should be slapped in the face for playing Zwick at all, well for using his as anything more than a pregame prep diversion to bring smith in. likewise, keying on vince is the worst thing you can do against texas, which is why the horns had almost 400 yds of offense. you saw a TD to billy pittman come from linebackers following VY on a spy, and you saw charles big catch come from the same thing. (the play before the TD pass). plus wheres nate salleys hate mail for missing RT in the end zone for a sure safety on the kickoff. but hey thats a funny post man

I don't know anything about how he felt or feels, but Garland is a suburb of Dallas, Texas.

It was a joke.. Farmer said people got his cell phone number and called Mr. Simms with threats because of the 2001 BigXII champship game... I was trying to make a joke about calling him 20 times that night, but I guess I failed...

They need to leave the kid alone and send their e-mails to Jim Tressel who managed to get out-coached by Greg freakin' Davis... on one of the biggest stages in college football no less.

I was at that Big-12 title game (Texas vs Colorado) when Chrissy Simms decided he was going to be a "one man" show and give that game to Colorado.

I didnt call him but I'm pretty sure he could hear me screaming as I was walking out of Texas stadium that day with my cousin. Dude I was pissed.

I would usually never say "one guy" lost a game because football is a "team sport." But, in that game it truly was "one players" Chris Simms that singly handily gave that game to Colorado.

The sad thing is if Texas wins that game they go to the National Title game to play Miami..
