Might head out to see the Trinity/Tyler Lee game. It will be worth the drive I think.

I will be at the Mesquite Poteet vs Mesquite Horn game since my daughter attends Poteet. But if I had time to get there Lee vs Trinity would be tempting.

You can almost argue that Judson has a bye next week, too! :p

At least Lee played tougher last year than previous years. It's a shame that better means getting a few more first downs in the first half and not letting Judson get up over 40 as fast. I sat on the Lee side and it was interesting to see them get to play Dixie after a 4th quarter TD in a 63-7 loss.

Like every week, I won't be watching any games. Don't quote me, but I think my original plan was to go to the Brownwood-Stephenville game. I don't remember what I was going to do on Saturday.

wait a minute- how can San Antonio LEE not be effective ? Are you telling me they are not good at football ? they have 2395 students compared to say smithson valleys 2148 or Grapebines 2053 or even Carrolls 2212? - how can this be ? they should be one of the better teams or at least competitive with such numbers. I mean shouldn't Plano, Plano East , Dallas Skyline also be amongst the elite teams with several state championships to their credit - say 6 or so.??

I love the sarcasm and I get the feeling that the thread just took a U-turn in the wrong direction. It reminds me of Piper's Pit on the old WWF shows on USA. You knew every Sunday morning that Rowdy Roddy Piper's interview was going to end in a fight!

hum...a rage on lee thread...

anyway, they clearly were not competitive last year in district play (0-7). They were outscored 106-326 last year. On the bright side, they have already scored 51 point this year. Of course last year they had scored 49 at this point and actually beat Holmes.

(Note: Closest district game last year - Reagan 3 Lee 0) Hehehehe...see ya on the 30th skins.

where did you get the SV 2148 number? Last I was it was at 2068. Have they got that many new students recently?

Thanks, I was looking at the comal ISD and that is where my number was from. I guess the UIL updates more often. That is a lot of students in a short period of time.

and SV fans always start stuff... :p I'll be heading to the Mac, Boerne game. I think this will be more exciting that many realize. This game will give some insight as to whether Mac will really compete in 265a this year.
