Big 12 tourney teams...who are they, what seed?

Alright. We have the top 3

Kansas
Texas A&M
Texas

Clearly the class of the conf., any of them capable of winning the conf. tournament. I think that KU, if they make it to the final of the conf. tourney, gets a 1 seed. If they lose before that, they get a 2 or 3.

If the Aggies win the conf. tournament, I think they get a 2, possibly a 1. Get to the final, its a 3. Lose before that, prob. a 3, if they collapse perhaps a 4. (I am assuming they finish off Mizzou, who they are leading by 12 with 6 left to play.

If UT wins the tourney, I think they get a 3, outside shot at a 2. If they get to the final, they are looking at a 3, probably 4. They don't under any circumstances get an lower than a 5.

I think K-State gets in, will not get higher than a 7 seed unless they somehow pull of a miracle in the conf. tourney.

If Tech beats ISU tonight, I like their chances to sneak in. They will need to win at least one game in the conference tourney though. I see them as a 12 or 13 seed if they get in.

The Big XII will send 4 teams... Texas, aggy, Kansas and K-State. Three solid teams and one ehh team. I don't think this conference is as good as many think. I think the top teams in this conference have made names for themselves by beating up on the rest of a weak conference.

Dunno..if they win in Ames tonight they will be a 20 win Bob Knight coached team with 3 wins against top 10 opponents...so clearly, they can play with and beat tourney teams.

I think that if they win 1 tourney game they are on the bubble, 2 and they get in. Just me though.

I'm in complete agreement. A 20 win team with 3 top ten wins, but a 30 point loss vs Texas and a 5 point losing streak in the middle of conference play is the def. of bubble.

I am just leaning a bit more towards the inside of the bubble. If they don't get in, it couldn't qualify as a shocker. I just think that adding two conference tourney wins would push them in.

Good wins for sure, but how do they look up against losses to Mobilhoma, Nebraska, Baylor, Mizzou, etc. I think that 5 game losing streak will come back to haunt Tech.

I know. It seems as if it transcends the different sports with inconsistency. It's both mindboggling and heart breaking as a sports fan and Red Raider.
