On the home page you can find links to the newest batch of rankings and standings. After every team has played at least three games, I'm going to post the top 10 scoring offenses and defenses as well as the top 10 teams according to victory margin.
Enjoy.

Interesting. Pflugerville is still no.18, despite being 1-2 (yes I know they've played a hard schedule, but so have many other teams!), and you ranked Westlake above McNeil on the statewide rankings, but below McNeil on the Region 2 rankings.
It will be interesting to see those stats you're talking about posting to see how they compare to your rankings.

I think that the rankings are fair and that I wouldn't want to play 1-2 Pflugerville once they figure out how to not turn the ball over.

But rankings during the season are based on current performance, not potential--a lot of teams never reach their potential or we wouldn't have to play the games to see who wins.

And Tyler has changed little despite their loss--same for Abilene, which barely beat Brownwood.

Tyler Lee lost a game that was full of all kind of factors against them, plus against a defendig state champion.
Brownwood is a traditional power and Abilene is playing with close to 4A numbers already.

That was just an honest goof on my part. Obviously, if Westlake is ranked higher statewide, they shoud be higher within the region.
