I have to do a presentation in my Spanish class about a city in Spain of my choice...what are your top three picks? (in case someone else has already picked my first choice).

Bilbao. The Guggenheim Museum there alone makes it worth writing about.

Well I never been to Spain
But I kinda like the music
Say the ladies are insane there
And they sure know how to use it
The don't abuse it
Never gonna lose it
I can't refuse it
Well I never been to England
But I kinda like the Beatles
Well, I headed for Las Vegas
Only made it out to Needles
Can you feel it
It must be real it
Feels so good
Oh, feels so good
Well I never been to heaven
But I been to Oklahoma
Well they tell me I was born there
But I really don't remember
In Oklahoma, not Arizona
What does it matter?

KT has a good list. If i were to have to write a paper, I'd have to choose "Cadiz". Lots of history there dating back as far as 3,000 years and one of the oldest cities in Europe.

Madrid...Anything else is overrated. I really hate that country. Them and their weird Spanish accents. ( they speak with a lisp)

I hate Europe in general....it was all quite overrated in my opinion.

I stopped there for fuel (well, the kind Air Force transporting me did anyway) also back in the late seventies. I didn't see the city but I know the Americans stationed there LOVED it. Maybe you should check it out. Not go with the obvious choices, if you know what I mean?

Did u know that in the Alamo when Travis did his "line in the sand" thing, the only guy who didn't stay to defend the mission was French?
Figures.

I ended up with Toledo. Any insight into cool stuff there is much appreciated...I have to make a travel brochure. Sometimes I think this teacher is a joke. I clearly remember doing a similar project in my middle school spanish classes, but I guess that means I should get a good grade here, eh?
