For those who dont know... Ramonce Taylor has been invited to play in this game... He also has been invited to an NFL combine... a lot of draft experts are saying he could be the sleeper pick in the draft... with sub 4.4 speed a 42 inch vertical... and some good hands... I wouldn't disagree... the only thing I think RT needs is to get out of Texas and start over somewhere else...

Made some real bad decisions but he is just a kid and hopefully he has grown up since the incident. Sometimes getting caught like that is the best thing that could happen. Kids tend to think they are invicible and above the law, especially great college athletes who have enjoyed success early on in their career. Great player at Texas and he deserves a second shot to play at the next level and prove others wrong.

He'll probably get drafted because of his pure athletic ability and speed. Where in the draft who knows...
I'm sure the NFL combine is going to be where RT makes his money.

born in austin raised in temple the actual town where Ramonce grew up, i wish he did stay at temple i would have loved to see him slice waco open like he did his senior year like he did at belton all over again :D wait temple freshmen shut out waco, so maybe we will get our shot at those noobs.

Well, you have this All-Star game (Texas vs Nation) and then you have the NFL scouts that come to the schools and then you have the NFL combine. So, he'll have a few chances to impress the NFL scouts.
But, I think the NFL combine is where he'll really turn the heads and gets his name out there. He might turn a few heads during the All-Star game.
I expect that he'll go tear up the (40 time) and have one of the fastest and he'll be very athetic (one of the best) and he'll show that he is a 3rd down caliber back and KR and PR specialist that in my opinion is right on par with Reggie Bush and Ted Ginn on special teams (KR & PR).
Ramonce Taylor can make one dude miss and be gone !!;) He is that type of player. NO doubt that Texas missed his caliber of play this past season.

I hope we don't see this again in the case of Rhett Bomar in a year or two. Maybe that is something we Sooners and Longhorns can all agree on.

I think if Ramonce ends up being drafted and plays in the NFL...he should consider himself very lucky.

Rhett Bomar will get drafted also. He is going to tear up the Southland Conference this year (passing) and probably depart for the NFL draft. The sad thing is he gave up probably "millions" and being a high draft pick (1st Day) to being a (2nd day pick). The difference is probably about a Million plus for a QB.
I guess that $1,600 or whatever amount it was that he scammed really looks great now.;)
