Don'Tay Ward wants to leave Tech

The Lubbock paper is reporting that Ward (Waco HS) told his HS coaches he'd rather leave than stay at TTU. I wonder what he problem is--he played in a lot of games as a frosh and his coaches generally had good things to say about him. Maybe Tech just didn't "fit" him, it happens. Too bad, because he was one of the jewls of last year's class.

he was a gamble from the start, and some said he didn't have the talent to play DI.
I thought he contributed greatly, for a freshman, and showed signs of something special down the road.
I hope things work out for him and Tech.
