I just got in from the Poteet vs Sulphur Springs game and what a finish!!! SS was up 35-21 early 4th and Poteet scores to make 35-28 with about 6:00 left. SS and their offense (same as SLC's) Move down the field and miss a 35 yarder with 2:14 left. Bouyed by a late hit and 30 yard miracle catch that fell into the receivers arms as he was laying on the ground the Pirates score with :29 left to tie it at 35. Here is where it gets ridiculous. SS throws an int with :10 left and Poteet has it at the SS 30 yard line. They miss a shot to the end zone and with :05 left the poteet kicker nails a 47 yarder to win as time runs out. SS has a great offense but a stupid coach. Why would you not take knee when you can go to overtime?? :confused:
