ok, so my sisters world geography teacher this semester is already proving to be a complete idiot. I wont say what school he teaches at but she has had one class with him and so far he has made such incredibly dumb comments as these:


he made a comment about native americans and my sister (being 1/4 indian) stated that she had native american in her. he then proceded to say well your pretty white and she said its winter, my tan only stays during the summer.


after this comment by the teacher he says that the reason white people try to tan (referring to tanning booths and the spray on tan) is that they are jealous of the african american race and that white people tan to try and get the dark tone that they naturally have.


ridiculous? i think so...... should be an interesting semester w/ this guy

This guy's tests should prove interesting undertakings. Are we talking College level course or high school. Either way it's embarassing, but the former almost warrants a talk with the department head or even the dean.

No. In fact, I don't really recall his name - it was in middle school that I had him and I don't remember many teachers from those years. Mr. Benson or something like that, I think. San Antonio.

i think you need to state the race in your main quote ,because it misleads a person into asuming the teacher is black.

I saw an encounter similar to this 1 in my criminal justice class. A girl came in in a shirt thart said "Dip me in Honey and throw me to the lesbians." The Teacher who was a former cop said that she had no right to be gay and that he could discriminate against her if he pulled her over for a routine traffic stop. :rolleyes:
