Are the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs a contender for at least a shot into the DII semi's? WE play in the toughest region in the state...Once the Dawg offense,which has yeat to really play, gets going we can be a pretty potent team. What does everyone thing of the Dawgs (Nothin' to harsh Judson fans)?

It looks like they are a pretty good team. But the playoffs are a long ways away. Maybe they should concentrate on one game at a time. If you win each game then the state title will take care of itself.

They have a chance. No Doubt about that. But it is a long way till the playoffs! The 2003 Cove team was 6-0 and ranked 6th I think then they lost there last 4 district games. So there's no telling what can happen, I'm pulling for cove! CONTENDER!! Go Dawgs!!

you can't say one region is the toughest in the state after two games...

I wasn't saying that region 2 was the toughest after two games. I was refering to the playoffs as where region 2 has the toughest team. Be Smart now...C'mon

I don't think the team is worried about the playoffs it's a fan that was asking a question. The rest of your answer is correct if you win your in if you don't win you will be watchting in December answer to this question is too easy!!

I don't know about Cove. They let me down last year and tanked in Round 2. I had them in the semis before the season this year and they did beat Judson. It's obvious they have a real good team, so I'll give them a chance to win a title. I don't say that about a lot of teams.

"Pretender" so far!
Watched Cove vs Judson game, good thing they were playing each other that night,cause if either of them had been playing somebody else they would had both their butts kicked. Terrible play by both teams in my opinion, neither team played up to their past teams level of play. Cove has potential but Judson may be a lost cause if they can't find someone to coach/play special teams in a hurry. I have nothing but respect for the Cove program always a class team & act but if a past Cove team had been playing against a team playing as poor as Judson did that night they would have had to add another digit to the scoreboard!

WE are still molding our o-line...We did play bad...Everyone plays a bad game...The thing is when you play bad and still win against a team like Judson this means that your team may have something special...

Jack Welch has provedhe can build a team that wins in the district and makes the playoffs. This is not the problem. The problem is when we get in the playoffs we need to swithc gears or change what ever it is that is not getting taken care of when we get to that point. I hate going the whole season and then after one or two playoff games packing my stuff away until next year.

This coach is awesome but we gotta break the curse this year. Depending on how and who we play will detirmine how far we can go if we get there. The road to the chanpionship is a long and hard road.
