Going along with his ejection from the Philly-Denver game, Iverson was also fined $25k for comments about NBA Official Steve Javy.
Iverson claimed Javy has been out to get him since he joined the league and the reunion game was the perfect chance for Javy to make him look bad.

The whole trade has been disputed by Philly and AI, as far as who initiated the request for the change. Coach Maurice Cheeks has always been a class guy IMO, and he and The Answer have never gotten along well. I can see both parties making the move to get out of a mutuually bad situation.

What are your thoughts?

I don't know.
He's not the thug the media makes him out to be. And by "thug" I mean...sometimes he is portrayed as a convict or a career criminal.
He's from a tough neighborhood...I've been there...trust me it's a tough neighborhood. He took a lot of that attitude and culture to the NBA with him.
So in a sense he has perpetuated a stereotype. I don't think he does it on purpose...he's just being who he really is. He refuses to change...and I think that defiance coupled with about 30 tattoos alienated mainstream America. It's hard to go from Michael Jordan and a big smile being the face of the NBA....to AI and "gangster disciple" tats on his arm. The shock value was and still is off the charts.

I said all of that to say this....

I don't know. Hell he might be a good guy. I think at times he is a terrible teammate though.
