It was a joke...see Lake Sam Rayburn is near Lufkin...in East Texas.
Southlake on the other hand is nowhere near East Texas.

Southlake Carroll is in Region 1, along with Abilene High.

You should probably say..."If you split Texas right down the middle, to where there was only left Texas and right Texas...which 2 schools would be considered the big dog..respectively?"...

How anyone would answer is beyond me, but I'll give it a go...

Left Texas - Midland High or Odessa High (Which doesn't say much!)
Right Texas - Spring Westfield or Southlake Carroll

Hell, SLC is closer to being Choklahoma than it is East Texas.

Abilene is geographically located in right in the middle of Texas. Almost on an invisible line, right in the middle of Texas. It sits in-between DFW and Midland/Odessa.

Southlake is one word, not 2, for future refrence, hence why CCHS said
Abi Lene

Just letting you know...

Plano has more state titles than Odessa Permian.

Plano has 7 titles...
Permian has 6.

But, I believe Odessa has the better, overall, winning percentage.
