Austin Westlakes Starting rb Matt Dornak (5atexasfootball's preseason 16-5a district mvp winner) suffered a broken ankle against Westwood last Friday, that will keep him out for 8 weeks minimum. He underwent surgery Saturday. Coach Long stated that they will keep him out until playoffs roll along at the very least. You hate to see things like this happen to kids like Dornak.

This thread is fine because you've got a credible media source linked. Thanks and that's too bad for Westlake.
However, I heard you have a junior who rushed for 175 yards last week that is ready to take over.

Yeah Westlake has a Junior RB Max Minor. I felt that against us he was the better back of the two. They'll be fine at rb with Minor, but they will miss Dornak alot.

Minor is quicker and shiftier had has a little edge in speed. Dornak was more power and strong but is also very quick and fast. We will really miss Dornak, he had great leadership along with his talents the team will definately play for him this season. Hopefully he'll still get to play college ball too.
