I know it is early on and they are just rankings, but I have a question about the Woodlands. How did they gain points after getting hammered by Katy? Granted Katy was favored and should have won the game, but how does a team gain points in that system after getting spanked? Maybe I just don't understand how their rating system works.

I guess it's comparable to OU being ranked ahead of TCU...there's really no logical explanation.

This is what makes us look bad!

It's just one of those things I guess. If it were up to me ou losing to TCU would have dropped them almost all the way out of the rankings...if not all the way. You lose to TCU...you should have to work your way back up. JMO

I'm sure the computers will work everything out in the long run, but it just seems odd to me. I'm sure it isn't the only case.

If Shore destroys us this week I am sure we won't gain any points!

I don't think you will gain any points.

REL beat Waco this week. REL dropped two spots from 7 to 9 and Waco moved up two spots from 43 to 41 or something like that. All that means is we didn't beat Waco as bad as we were supposed to.

I'll go with that, but Katy beat the Woodlands by 24. At the time both were ranked pretty high.

I have to ask, where is John Tyler, they beat Texas high the number two team in 4A. I am sure they should be a top 20 team if not a top ten.

Its so ridiculous about The Woodlands being in the top 25 still and losing. I don't see The Woodlands being in the Top 25 this year. If we lose then I am sure they will drop us out for nothing.
