I can't wait to listen to ESPN radio here tomorrow. Oh dude...it's the funniest thing ever. When Cosby switched and went to UT at the last minute they had a meltdown of epic proportions. That's when I first heard them refer to Texas as "the evil empire in Austin". bwahahahahahaha!!! That is just classic. They will take phone calls on this for 3 hours I promise...and some of the stuff people will say...oh my...it's good stuff.

I hope that Vondrell gets some carries next season. With Selvin now gone...look for Jamaal to get a ton of carries. Also, look for Jermichael Finley to play a much bigger role in the offense.

I kinda feel bad for the kids too. Texas is stacked at every posistion for the next 2 years. I guess the stars coming out of high school have to prove they can play at the college level and they wont just get to play because they put up massive numbers in college.

I dont think you realize how big this is for a program that needs a star athlete that can bring this program back...this is a huge blow

it depends on who you ask....some have said that with Brantley leaving that the coaching staff may want him to take snaps....correct me if im worng, but isnt he enrolling early?

The football team is slightly better than mediocre...they have the potential to be much more though.

The baseball team......don't say the baseball team sucks...because they don't. They won the Big XII and went to the CWS in 2005. Texas has struggled with the Bears baseball team tremendously in recent years.
Track and field is outstanding as well as women's basketball. And tennis?? Forget about it...Baylor kicks all kinds of [censored] in tennis.

I don't have the quotes right in front of me, but i also remember him saying something to the tune of "I'd love to go to Texas, who wouldnt love to go to Texas, they are my dream school....yada yada yada" before Brantly committed to UT. The kid bleeds orange, and when he got the chance at an offer, he committed. What do you expect.
I can get teh quotes if you need me to, i just dont have them right in front of me.

The UT coaches then reevaluated, and gave him an offer. But he did mention in several articles that UT was his "dream school". You honestly can't fault a 17 or 18 year old kid for backing out of their previous commit when their dream school finally does decide to offer. I know how you're feeling tho, as does any other UT fan. We've had our share of qb situations in recruiting.

haha, yea that pisses me off...it was great to be able to go back and tell everyone that they missed the greatest comeback in school history...regardless of how bad the team is...good times and bad, we need to stick with our team... i cant wait for the day in which one day we are able to seriously talk about our teams competing
