I ask that the occupants of this Board, briefly, go back out into the Forum and enter the Board "Off-Topic Discussion" and into the thread "What in the "Wide" world of Sports"...there I ask that you, please, read and acknowledge a bet made by Wide-E-Wide and Concha, over the Texas vs Ohio State game.
Thanx!

i'll keep this highschool related so it stays on here......SLC, DR, Grapvine, are the 3 smallest schools correct??? so would that make slc a D1 team being the largest of the 3?

Couldn't tell yeah! D1 isn't really associated with High School is it? College yes, but High School, no. D1 is the biggest colleges...like Texas, Florida St., and Nebraska.
5a, 4a, etc...seperate the High Schools as levels based on population of school and community standards.
Thanx!!

d1 is related with highschool buddy, D1 and D2 state champs in each class, hence why SLC is Texas 5a D2 State Champs, and how Tyler Lee is Texas 5a D1 State Champs, notice that?

my gosh, bltswc, keep up man. yes in the scenario you relate, slc would go d-1. any combo including richland, dr, gvine, and slc would make slc d-1.

thats interesting, if we were to go D1, and run the tables, thatd be one less game wed have to play, and may be even better for the state game instead of playing another game then state..(if we run the tables like i said before), but id also stay D2, exciting last year, the same playoff path would be another exiciting one, dragon fans which would you prefer d1 or d2?

I'm not much of a dragon fan, but if you believe D1 will provide SLC with a shorter playoff season, considering the team they will meet in bi-district, I'm sure you will get your wish.
