The 00' Oklahoma team, though I really hate to say this, was extremely good and better than the 04' USC team... IMO

2000's...

2001 Miami Hurricanes...the ultimate balance. Listen to these names...Ken Dorsey, Clinton Portis, Jeremy Shockey, Ed Reed, Phillip Buchanon, Mike Rumph and Bryant McKinnie...all first round draft picks. Oh and margin of victory per opponent, 34 pts. Lou Holtz has been qouted as saying, "Best I ever seen...no doubt about it"

Closest Team: 00' Oklahoma..what a defense! They averaged 41 pts on offense and surrendered only 14.7 points per game on defense. And that was in a year when Kansas State was ranked #9, of whom they beat twice...Nebraska was 12#, Texas 13#, Texas A&M 21#, OSU#23.

1990's...

95' Nebraska...Tommy Frazier, Lawrence Philips, Ahman Green, The Peter Brothers..scored a wopping 50+ points per game!!! They faced 4 top 10 teams that year and trounced them by 20+ points per game. Then humiliated the #2 ranked Florida Gators, 62-24!!! Simply the best....I'm sorry it's not even close!
