Ike replied on another thread. He never said Ike would win and if he did he was kidding. He actually asked the Panthers to take it easy on his team a few times. I would not have much to say if i were him either. I remember those days back in the early 90's so we should show mercy. It could happen again you never know?? Ike will still make the playoffs in that district in my opinion. They still have very good athletes. They were simply overmatched in a major way the other day.

My inquiry was genuine. I really wanted to know if he was still around. Glad to hear he is still an active member of the board.

Actually, its sad to see what has happened to that program. For the longest time Ike was one of if not the premier football program in the Greater Houston area. I only hope they can find their former glory once again.

However, I do think they need an upgrade in the coaching department. It was obvious the Ike kids were not well prepared and the game discipline was not good at all. Hopefully, they can rise from the ashes and reestablish themselves.

Don't you folks worry about old eagleike, I'm down but not out. All I can do is keep pulling for the black and gold to get back to the level of only 3 years ago.

My old friends up in L-town just tried their best to back off the accelorator but the kids up there are so talented its hard to slow em down.

At this point I think Ike must focus on one game at a time and get into the playoffs. And then build from there.

The tradition is just too great to let it all die. So Let's Get It Together!!!
