this last weekends college football games had statistical representation out of 4 of the 6 offensive skill players from the 02 slc state championship team. there's no way for me to know any other similar situations, but that speaks fairly well of that group, imo. the other 2 will be playing college baseball next spring.

i don't count garrett as a skill position. andrew h had 2 rec in his first college game for acu.

. strained a tendon on the outer part of knee, not inside. he hasn't gotten back in the rotation yet however. they play each other in october. hope he gets in by then.

DD - so No. 2 is at ACU now? Cool - my folks were at the game and they were pretty keen on the new qb. Said the team was a blast to watch and played a tough team pretty solidly - what was it 47-39? Sorry I'm not going to make it out to ACU homecoming this year - saving our gas pennies for a deep playoff run ;) -- Where is Chub?

he's at wtamu up in canyon. they have rolled 2 teams so far. seems everyone up there is pretty excited about the new hc.
for his first college game, he did pretty well. made some poor decisions, but threw pretty well and should improve a lot as the season progresses. daniele manning is phenomenal.

Manning is the db/return specialist right? Yeah, he is awesome if that's who I'm thinking about. The ol' codgers like my dad are comparing him to Wilbert Montgomery - that might be going a bit far.
Glad to hear your all happy in west Texas land.

Chandler had 1 reception for 7 yards and Chase Daniel had 22 yards rushing and 23 passing with an INT (he will be solid there though).
what did the other 2 guys do ?

#2 was born there at hendricks, so he at least ought to be able to stand the water. the jury's out on chubbs as he's not too keen on splinters. he's working hard, and that tends to bring on good things. gas is a few pennies cheaper out there too. we get to travel thru the foothills of the ozarks this weekend. hope it doesn't snow up there at elevation.
