Here is the rules... post a picture of something that represents a reason you love the 90's. Lets keep the 90's alive!

I'll start.

No one would be caught dead during AR time without Goosbumps or Hank the Cowdog books... if you were.. you were a playground reject.

Its true. I swear. It happened to me once when I read the book the Hatchet. I had to give everyone a pog to be let back in.

The 90's? Wasn't that like a couple of weeks ago?

I'll say this about the '90's...
It was one of the worst decades ever for music.
You take away a couple of good grunge years...and some elements
of underground rap. And you are left with Hanson, Billy Ray Cyrus and Whoop there it is.
Terrible decade for music.

What is "Grunge" exactly? Does that refer to any rock band that was big in the '90s? All the bands I named were usually referred to as "Grunge", but all sounded totally different. I didn't even mention bands such as Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, Screaming Trees, Jane's Addiction, Helmet, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers..... Snow.....best rapper of the 80's....Informer was the greatest song of all time.
Who Knew the white kid from Canada with the Jamacian accent would be a hit.

Young Black Teenagers was my second favorite rap group of the 90's......I mean....with a name like that...who KNEW none of them were black.

The worst thing about the 90's was that Ice Cube got money. The poor hungry Cube was one of the greatest of all times.....then he got movie deals....and money...lost the hunger.
Key events in my life in the 90's
1990....was almost killed in a gang fight at high school. had nothing to do with it....was a big race war going on at Reagan High School between blacks and hispanics....I was sitting at the bus stop minding my own business...when guys with machette's and pick axes chased me into Circle K...I was running for my life while the dumb woman behind the counter kept screaming while I was throwing can goods to keep these guys off of me.....finally she locked me in the FREEZER until the cops came. The next day....the Nation of Islam escorted me out of class in suits and bow ties and dared anyone to say anything.

1992....Graduated high school at the tender age of 17.....turned 18 in October and then in November I left Texas for the first time in my life to Ft.Lenorad Wood Missouri. From there I went to Ft.Gordon Georgia.....from there....I was on my way to Tongdochon, South Korea

1996...After re-enlisting I went home...slept on it....the next morning changed my mind, took terminal leave...and walked away from Ft.Hood Texas with almost NOBODY knowing....lol....I left my boots spit shined at the foot of my bed and everything.

1997.....My first child.....my son.....the day I became a man. happiest day of my life.

The Cranberries
"Bittersweet Symphony" (just the song, The Verve hasn't done anything else)

Best movies of the '90s:

The Sandlot
Goodfellas
The Silence of the Lambs
Clueless (I hate to say it, but that movie pretty much sums up the '90s in many ways)
Godfather Part III (it was in no way comparable to the first 2, but when stood up against other movies in the '90s, it's great)
The Matrix
The English Patient

Best part of the '90s:

the year 2000.

Worst of the '90s:
