The Big 10 ACC have multiple teams that have a legit shot at the NC and the Big12 has one. That might be all it takes though because the pac10 has only one team that has a shot but they have a good one. Schedule is not great either.

After today, I'd say that a Big 10 team is not going to win it all.
I think Va Tech and UT would be an interesting Rose Bowl game.

I never doubted Marcus Vick. The kid's amazing. He's got a nice touch with the ball. I thought that if he could stay out of trouble this year, he'd have a big season.

Too early to tell!! Texas has to get by their recent owners first even though they look awful this year so far. That is football you never know. V Tech is very lucky that did not lose to NC st last week. You can still make it to the NC game with one loss ya know.

Course you can still make it to the NC....and Tech was no luckier last week as Texas was tonight. They both ended very much the same way....we got an intercept as they were trying to move in for a score and OSU fumbled.

True, Oklahoma did it when they lost to K State in the Big XII Championship game two seasons back.

Yeah and Ohio St. beat Kansas St in the Super Dome in New Orleans that same year in 2003. Sad to see what it looks like now.

Who's going to beat USC?
Va Tech and Texas will both have to play in a conference championship game while USC will not. I still think USC will cruise in the regular season, but I very well could be wrong

Pack
KSU and OSU played in the fiesta bowl a few years back, the sugar bowl that year was OU and LSU in the national championship game.

I'm tired of hearing about golden boy Matt Leinart and the Trojans, so I'm actually hoping USC loses somewhere. The problem is, they play in such a weak conference. Outside of their games at Arizona St and Notre Dame (who I'm not really sold on) who's going to challenge them?

The thing that will help Tech is the ACC is a somewhat "tough" conference.

Why are you sick of hearing about him and USC? they are the best team in America, and as much as you or I dont like it, you just have to deal with it. The tough games for USC are looking to be at Notre Dame and at Oregon, I believe they get Arizona State at home. The PAC 10 is not as weak as you say it is, if you think about it, it probably is as strong as the Big 12 this year.

Saying it's as "strong" as the Big 12 isn't necessarily a good thing to be saying...

1) SEC
2) or 3) Big 12 (Acc and Big 12 are basically tied for this spot.)
3) or 2) ACC
4) Big Ten (Especially after yesterday.)
5) Pac-10

If the Pac-10 lined up its best teams and played the best teams in the Big 12 it would be a slaughter.

The PAC 10 as strong as the Big XII....yeah right. The Big XII might be down, but they're not that bad.
And I'm tired of hearing about USC b/c dynasties (or dynasties in the making) are annoying if it's not your team. I've got nothing against USC. I'd just like to see some new blood at the Rose Bowl this year.

Results are all that matter and the PAC 10 has had more success in the bowl games than the Big 12 has. People point to Tech beating Cal, but Texas has lost to Oregon and Washington State in recent bowl games, as well as OU losing to USC. I think a lot of people do not give the Pac 10 enough credit due to not staying up so late and watching there games. The Pac 10 has 4 teams who have a great shot of finishing in the top 25, Oregon, Arizona State, Cal and USC. Oregon State looks to be improved and Stanford will get better with the addition of Walt Harris and its only a matter of time before Mike Stoops has the Arizona Wildcats fighting for a spot among the top 25. The PAC 10 is not as weak as some of you guys say it is.

Hell yeah, that would be hilarious!!! I think Baylor would beat them, 21-17. Especially with Washington getting whipped the first two weeks out....at least Baylor's undefeated!!LOL

But honestly the rest of the games, with the exception of USC and MAYBE, just maybe Arizona State, would be blow outs.

Big XII!!!!

I hope those are not the ranking you are using to judge where each team is in there conference. Oregon State, Washington State and California are all above Washington.
UCLA plays OU this weekend, I think people will be shocked to see how much UCLA has improved, and they could take OU to the woodshed.

In comparison, to the SEC, Big XII, and ACC the PAC 10 is not a strong conference. Take USC out of the equation, and they're mediocre all around.

Cal and Arizona State are both better than OU and A&M, same with Oregon and UCLA will prove it this week. A&M is not as strong as people think, they might be getting better each year, but they are a long way from being a top 15-20 team. Cal, Arizona State and Oregon would throw all over that secondary. Don't be fooled by Iowa State's win over Iowa, Iowa State will lose at least 4-5 games this year. Colorado struggled in a game against Colorado State who jus got murdered by Minnesota, so that shows the Buffs arent a great team. Like I have said, this week OU will travel out to LA to face UCLA, I am one who thinks UCLA will win this game, if they do what will that say about the PAC 10 and its mediocre football?

One thing is almost certain champion wont come from the Big-Ten!!! Texas is the Big XII's only hope, maybe Florida or LSU from SEC, VA Tech or Florida St from ACC, USC from PAC-10. Champion will come from one of these teams. My opinion only :D As for PAC-10 being weak seems they are on par with the Big XII in the early going.

Do not count the Big10 out yet!! Since the BCS started there have been 5 teams with 1 loss play for the national title. Some forget about teams like Purdue, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Penn st, Michigan st. All undefeated and all look very solid this year and especially Purdue, Minnesota, and Mich st. It is not all about the big 3 in Michigan, Iowa, and Ohio st. Hopefully my hawks can go into the shoe and pull out a huge upset. Yes Iowa beat Ohio st by 30 last year but this Ohio st team is better and Iowa might not be as good and it is at the shoe where iowa has not won a game in forever. I am just saying do not count the Big 10 out of the nc picture quite yet. Purdue has a legit shot at going undefeated because they do not play MIch or Ohio st and they have Iowa at home. The fact is this though, If USC and Texas are undefeated at the end of the year nobody else is going to be playing in that game and that is how it should be.

Lets see Michigan went down again..they are out of the running. Iowa went down again eliminate them. Perdue lost, Penn St is not that good. Michigan St looks pretty good we will see. Ohio St. found some offense. Minnesota and Wisconsin still undefeated but for how long?? I don't think champion will come from Big-10 this year.

After the beating Louisville took if anyone had them on their list they can now be erased!!

LSU is getting the sympathy vote we will see after Monday if they are #3 Looks to me like at this point in the season USC, Texas and Va Tech are the 3 top teams in the land.
