Cooper's starting TB, Jerry Harper, had surgery Sunday night to repair a broken forearm suffered during Saturday's game against Brownwood. The doctors have not said how long Jerry will be out, but we are hoping he will see the field again this year.
Jerry had been off to an amazing start carrying the ball 37 times for 446 yards (12.1 ypc) and 3 TDs in two games.
