Dawgs and Lions and Lions, oh my!

Waco is the place to be if you are not following a favorite 5A game this week.

At 1pm, WISD, the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (16-4A/Region II Champs) will face off with the Aledo Region I Champs) for the right to play in the State Title Game for 4A Division 1.

Also at 1pm, Baylor's Floyd Casey, the Waco Lions (16-4A/District Champs) will face off with the Brownwood Lions (16-4A/3d Place) for the Region II Title in 4A/Division 2.

All three playoff teams from District 16-4A playing in Waco in ROUND 4!!!!

I would love to be at both games, but will be with my Dawgs. Come on out and have a great time watching some great football!

When you posted about a speed bump in our road to state I did not realize you were an Aledo fan. I did not figure that out until today at the game. Your boys were classy players. And your fans were AWESOME! I really did not expect any team to bring enough to fill the Home side of WISD Stadium, but you guys surely did. You had a great run. Please root for us to win next week. We now know it will be Alamo Heights and if the message boards are correct it will be in the Alamodome at 7pm on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing you all again next year!
