Yes but our defense needs to read coverage calls better, at least we don't have to face Sherrod Harris again

I'm still hoping my calendar is wrong and Coach Ferrara says, "April Fool's, this isn't really the new Clemens offense you've all been longing for. I was just kidding around. Also, that's not really our starting offensive line." :(

Yes, Lufkin had some questions about how their offensive would develope. Lufkin did well against an overmatched Aldine Eisenhower team with over 350 yards of offense, while holding IKE to -7 yard offense and a 51-0 win.
There is still lots of room for improvement for the Panthers . We know the road ahead will be tougher than the one we had against Eisenhower, so we will put this game behind us and improve on what we did Friday night.

I think Carroll's offense is in scary form for this early....either QB, Mc or Dodge is a gamebreaker, Tre Newton is getting scarier each game, Morefield is solid & nobodys covered the WR's yet & there are 8 of them! The D is really improving, making great adjustments on the fly. Kicking game is as good as anybody's. Exicited for the home opener against Plano East. We have'nt played at home in at least 8 games.....

Yes... At this point who wouldn't be pleased with the Trinity Trojan offensive output. Trinity scored touchdowns on 9 of it 10 possessions against Midland Lee before removing the starters. In two games, the offensive starters have played what is equivalent to about 1 game + one possession. The offense has posted 109 points so far and it would be nice to know the scores or statistics players could have put up if the starters had played longer. However, to do that at the risk of getting a key player hurt would not be a good tradeoff. Hopefully, this offense will stay as potent as it is right now the entire year. There is still room for improvement on the defensive side of the ball, especially in the secondary. Kicking game made a great improvement from the problem it had against Desoto.

You know even though Coppell lost, I think they played great, They have somethings to work on, but heck we lost to the #4 team in the Nation and the #1 team in the state. If Coppell can play like they did in the last 3qt of the Jesuit game and the first qt of the SLC game, Coppell could end up doing pretty good this season...

At least Coppell gets over with Trinity in the first district game and doesn't have to worry about them at all the rest of the year.

I know, we have our two toughest District games in the first two weeks, Trinity and Irving Mac...then we get three weeks of decent teams (when i say decent im not refering to GP), then we have Irving, and SGP

You guys have to find a passing game to balance it out for Moody...give him some relief by being able to pass a little and he will light teams up!

SV won against a good team that beat them last year. They win ugly by doing the grunt work. It is not always pretty to watch but you have admire the way they beat teams with more talent week. If they dominate the stats then they win by a bunch. If not they win by a little. SLC had 40 first downs. SV will never do that.

The only numbers that ever matter are the ones at the end of the game....stats are excuses for the loser.
Not all your scoring needs to be done by your offense. Kickoff and punt returns (last time i checked) don't count as posessions. And neither does a fumble or interception.
