People, I need to reasons why i should come back to watch the SLC-CHHS game this saturday!! I'm out at HSU in Abilene so the drive will be about 3 hours and ill have to come back saturday night because finals are next week(which arent a big deal cause i cant get lower than a B in any of my classes).
So, start convincing me to come to the game. B/c as far as i know (which is alot), is that SLC will pound CHHS again.
So.............

Unfortunately I'm looking for the same reasons. I was torn between SLC-CHHS and Copperas Cove - Aledo, but the people I'm going with are convinced that SLC-CHHS is going to be a blow out so it looks like we're headed to Waco.
Very disappointed that only 1 game is being played at Texas Stadium... a triple-header would've been enough pull. All three games that I was stoked about this week are being played on the same day at the same time (SLC-CHHS, CC-Aledo, Brownwood-Waco).

How have the results gone in the past, where 2 teams meet twice in one year, once in district, and once in the playoffs. Have there been drastic role reversals in the past?

I'll give you a reason not to go. School comes first. While you said you can't get lower than a B in your classes, why not make an A? You will need the higher grade points to help pad your GPA for the higher level classes. Why come to a game that will be a blow out? Save your time and money. Get a head start on next semester. Save yourself for the state final game or a better matchup. Take your girlfriend on a date.

Well, according to a couple CHHS posters, this is a rivalry the size of tOSU and Michigan... That's a good reason!

Over the last 10 years, who has SLC played the most? By my count, this will be the 8th meeting in the last 11 years. Have you guys played Grapevine all 11 years?
Plus, it's the only two cities in the close surrounding area where the annual household income is over $150,000...now that's a rivalry...:)
